It's a tinny adventure


As part of the official, BMW-sanctioned celebrations of the Mini reaching its 50th anniversary, the car's current custodians have decided to revive the old Mayfair name.

I actually own one of the original Mini Mayfairs (pictured above) and I'm wondering if the latest arrival will have any of the features I currently enjoy:


A) No power steering

B) Wind-up windows

C) A distributor that doesn't work when it rains

D) An insatiable appetite for unleaded

E) A top speed of 69mph

F) British Leyland engineering


They don't make them like they used to...
